Occupying a secluded, elevated position surrounded by 1.5 acres of garden, orchard and wood, The Old Vicarage enjoys views across the church and onto the Fuchsia Valley below and is a 7 minute walk from Lee Bay beach and the village pub.
The accommodation itself is exceptional, blending stylish, contemporary luxury with delightful period character. The Old Vicarage provides flexible holiday accommodation for up to fifteen people; although it can easily also offer a comfortable holiday retreat for as few as six.
The house is ideally placed to enable guests to explore all that Devon offers, from Lee Bay, surfing at nearby Woolacombe and Putsborough, the harbour at Clovelly or exploring the beautiful attractions around Exmoor.
“This beautiful, warm and so welcoming house is INDEED MAGICAL! You walk through the door and you immediately feel at home. We’ve been renting holiday homes all over England for years but this rental is by far my absolute favourite.”
The house is approached through a pillared entrance with double gates which lead onto a graveled driveway which has ample parking for 5 cars.
A pathway leads around the front of the house, which then in turn widens to a patio in front of the drawing room and to the side of the kitchen.
Bordering the patio is an extensive area of lawn which is level, and then gently slopes in an upwards direction, where there is a small disused quarry and a fenced copse area.
The garden enjoys sun all day long, and the perfect place to enjoy lunch or an evening meal.
A large teak table and chairs to seat 14 means there is plenty of space. A 4-ring Weber gas BBQ and parasol are also provided.
